How it plays
Read the clams
Each otter floats on its back holding a clam with a number: how many kelp ropes it needs.
Tie the ropes
Drag from one otter to a neighbour to tie a rope. Tie the same pair again for a double. Ropes run straight, never cross, and two otters share at most two.
Make one raft
When every otter has its ropes and they’re all tied into one raft, they fall asleep together and the kelp glows.
If you know Hashi or Bridges, you already know how to play.
A calm puzzle
No timer
Take as long as you like.
Three hearts
A wrong rope snaps and costs one. Run out and you can start the raft again, or take one more heart and keep going.
A daily raft
A new raft every day, the same one for every player.
60 rafts, then endless ones
Hand-tuned rafts from four otters up to twenty-four, with an easier one now and then. After Raft 60 come endless rafts, the same for everyone.
